Marine life!

We want marine life!!! Dolphins, whales, sharks, etc to make an entire aquarium. I've been waiting patiently for 2 years!

I do not see completely aquatic animals being added. They could have the ones that sometimes come to the land like sea turtles.

Tbh i would just like some fish to make lakes and rivers feel a little... less empty i'd say :D I just feel like being able to put soem fish in there would be great

I tried it before with mods, it was funny because the FISH actually have to walk to the water they use some seal reskin i guess

After thinking about it more, Frontier could add them as exhibit animals. but they would have to be small.

Well, we had marine-life in Zoo tycoon, so...never say never. I prefer birds over marine animals though.

Piranha might be cool in an exhibit. Or just like the butterflies, make mantises a walkthrough exhibit with different types, like orchid, or vine. Those look cool!

You definetely can't compare those two. Planet zoo is worlds more complicated than Zoo Tycoon. It would take loads more coding and might be impossible to do

There is too much controversy about marine animals that Frontier would have to face if dolphins, whales, sharks etc would be added to the game as much as we'd love them to be, @BreezyBingy, unfortunately, it is not recommended or for that matter, allowed in some places of the real world to breed those type of animals in captivity . I know it's just a game, but with the premise of Planet Zoo, being made to help endangered, threatened or extinct animals Marine animals, since they don't do well in captivity contradicts that to an extent so it may not be allowed to be included.

Sadly due to the real world controversy of having dolphins and whales in captivity they said they would not be doing an aquarium pack.

I loved Zoo Tycoon, but i agree there is no comparison. I would just love another realm of realism to the game play. We have Safari, Jungle, wetlands, mountain animals etc. but no ocean life. It's really sad.

I don't believe all the animals included in the packs are all threatened or going extinct. Similarly, aquariums are no different then Zoos. We also need to remember that it's a game. We aren't out here building real life zoos and making profits off of the extortion of the animals. This game is called PLANET zoo. The ocean makes up over 70 percent of our planet and the life that lives in it. I personally have a passion for ocean life and would love a pack to learn more about the different ecosystems, mammals, fish and sea life that perhaps I haven't had a chance to experience in real life yet. I can't imagine that I am not the only one that feels this way.

I agree, ocean animals are one of my favourite areas also, and as I said above, it is a game but I have heard and read that it is not a recommended option as the uproar, even if it is a game, could cause problems for Frontier,

BUT I think it's better that we don't have them here in the game :)

And I totally respect Frontiers desicion not to include them!

Well yes, it's just a game, but it also works as an advertisement for real life zoos, even though it's accidental. Bringing in animals like dolphins, orcas or most species of sharks would also give children, this game is also made for kids, a desire for seeing these animals in aquariums. There is a reason most of the world have made it illegal for these animals to be held in captivity, it is pure animal abuse, much more than keeping, say, a lion or a gazelle in captivity. The uproar isn't the only reason that Frontier has chosen not to implement these animals.
