If you can limit the number of guests (settings) I would certainly do so.
In general, not sure if there is any high-end CPU/GPU combi to support this idea
I recommend combining animals as much as possible, as @Jmi suggested, but not to save space. Having them combined minimizes the amount of staff that you need, which lowers the AI processes for staff. A LOT of animals can be combined in, perhaps, unexpected ways.
It's the cpu usage from calculating all of the AI and pathing of animals + staff + visitors which chokes game performance, so everything you can do to minimize that helps when you are going to build that large.
The solution of as-many-combined-habitats as possible helps with that, as does putting the zoo entrance in the very center and making liberal use of transport rides and stations. (Even on franchise mode, you can build a new entrance in the middle and close the one you start with)
You still have many visitors leave the zoo disappointed that they didn't get to see every specific animal on their list, but that happens even in mid-size zoos pretty frequently. Regardless, it is probably not a good idea to do this on "hard" difficulty, where some of those would ask for a refund.
Guests are almost human, there's some animals they cannot be bothered with much. But it does help if you have entrances all over the place.
OK that seems to be a serious problem. Anyone with an idea? I just want to confirm in advance since Ultimate Version is on sale still a big amount of money and i guess i will not be able to realize within the 2 hours if PZ is good for me or not?
Oh ;) ... should have read the other comments too
Time wont be a problem. Spending more time with game will make it better since price/time ratio will be better ;)
Can you have more than one entrance? In another comment it sound like you can have only one (Jaggid Edje:"[...] and close the one you start with"
