copy and paste formation in its entirety

In one of my games there was mentioned, "copy in its entirety". In this new game it is not mentioned! Should I copy it rock by rock? It will take hours

Press 'i' for the multi-select tool and drag to cover the items you want to copy, extra unwanted items accidentally included can be removed from the selection by ctrl/left click on them before copying or ctrl/X advance copy/move
