Null boundry not working
Ok.. I"m at my wits end here. Certain walls, ie the windowed walls, and the null fencing just wont hold in my animals. I"m having to go back in and put in double fencing. Any idea on what i'm missing?

Null fencing only shows the habitat boundaries but does nothing to contain the animals, windowed walls are a construction item none of which make habitat boundaries alone.
To make a habitat boundary using construction items you need to first lay out the boundary using the null fence then make it escape proof using terrain, deep water or construction pieces of sufficient height to prevent animals passing through or over the null fence. This includes filling in the holes in a windowed wall with glass as small animals can jump through them.

The null barrier is meant to be used with scenery or building pieces. That way it can be hidden in walls and such to give a different look to a habitat. It doesn't work if we place it without using something to block the animals from escaping.

You're missing what null actually does.

When using terrain and construction materials to build your enclosure around the null barrier - don't forget to check the toggle for if something is climbable or not, which may help for some blueprints.

A lot of building pieces have no clipping, meaning that anything can walk right through them. The null barrier works best if there's something else stopping animals getting out, such as cliffs, and rocks, but don't forget that the big cats can jump very high and far.

Kish, You need to have the null barrier behind or inside a barrier you make or hidden in terrain as long as the terrain is high enough to keep the animals in. I took a while to work out how the null barriers worked, but by watching others using them I finally worked out how they are to be used.

The square landstamp can be handy used with nul barriers, because it creates vertical sides and sharp corners.

Yes, Just Kevin is right.

Yes, terrain and null barriers make a very good combination. All depends on the look you want.
