Guided tour
After the expansion of my zoo, I would like to add stops to the guided walk and move the existing end stop. How do I do that?
On the education function I only see the animal talk.
I hope I don't have to go through all the signs and reset everything. Sigh.

I believe if you select the guided tour stops, you can change their part in the tour, (Change end to start, start to middle, middle to end, etc.) I think you can also combine tours. I don't work too much with tours, so I'm not too sure. You may have to go individually through the new stops and edit them. I'm not sure why it wouldn't appear in the education panel, though. Hope this helps!

You use the Tour Manager (click on any of the stops on your tour, then select Tour Manager). Select the tour you want to change from the drop-down.
There is a list of all the tour stops with arrow button to locate, up/down button to move them up or down in the order and delete button to remove a stop from the tour.

Delete the end stop. Use the Select Tour End to choose your new end stop. Re-add the previous end stop (as a talk or intermission), or any other stops you want to have.

Reconfirm the tour changes.

Its not too difficult at all really.

What seems easy to one person may be difficult for another.
In any case, I have renamed all stopping places, so that it is clear at a glance in the overview which animal the guide is talking about and where the breaks are inserted. This is important from the start, because stopping points one-two-three etc. don't provide much clarity.
What I'm wondering now is how to do it when you have multiple entrances in the zoo. Probably the same as if you have a savannah with several animals. Post a new animal talk for each.

The tours need not start at the zoo entrance. Guests do seem to go direct from the entrance to the starting point though. Not sure if they will spawn at the closest entrance or at a random one so multiple entries might be a challenge. I mostly gave up on tours due to the tedious setup and limited benefit.

It is best to start close to an entrance, otherwise visitors will take a long time to find the meeting point and you will be flooded with red alerts that people have to wait too long, which in turn results in teachers running out of energy and taking on even more costs a lot of money.
