Can rides go into dangerous animals habitats? And what are the mechanics of rides?

Recently I noticed a note on each animal's zoopedia page saying if guests can go into their habitat. I thought it was talking about the transport rides before I noticed these new gates that allow guests to walk in on foot.
If I build a habitat with lions or tigers, could I build a transport ride going inside?
What is the advantage of building a ride going inside a habitat?
In Planet Coaster, guests were programmed well enough to know to use transport rides to get close to the attractions the wanted to see. Do the guests in Planet Zoo work the same?
If I built a big zoo and built a transport ride to get around it, would they know to use it like that or would they use it expecting to see animals?

I like putting rides through ALL the habitats that I can, when I use them. ESPECIALLY the ones with dangerous animals! Big cats would sleep on the tracks, making the guests stuck til the cat decided to move. Sooooooooo.........short story long-yes, they can!
