Can't buy animals for cash?

Recently i began making a new zoo in challenge mode, that took a ton of work already. I finally felt ready to buy some animals but.. i can't. Not for cash anyway.

I scoured the settings in case i had messed up, but nope. I can't buy cash animals anymore, only conversation points. I checked my other older games, same scenario.

My last theory was that maybe something had happened in the files. I had recently been purging my pc but i didn't touch planet zoo whatosever. Just incase i looked at file integrity and it passed with no issues.

I don't want to reinstall because my current internet is slow and takes apparently at least 16 days to install a game, if not more. (i am getting it replaced soon though).

I would report this via the frontier tracker but tbh i really don't want to create a new log in just to submit an issue. I hate keeping track of them.

I've got the most current version of windows os, steam and planet zoo if that helps

The cash selections DO appear, just that i can't buy any of them. And this has spilled over into every game, which i could previously use cash for easily. I have ensured i have enough cash to buy the animal, but the purchase ability simply isnt there

Have you checked your filters on the trading centre? It’s possible to filter out all cash transaction animals.

Make sure you have no filters active in the trade center. And it might be that there are no animals available at that given time. To check that, don't filter any species, but filter for only cash and no credit points. All available animals would show up. If there is not a single one, you might want to consider reporting it. You can use google or facebook, I think even steam to login, so you don't need to create a new account.

Some players find they need to click clear all filters a the top to sort of reset the system. Even if they clearly have no filters active.

Are you sure it's not a challenge where you can only get animals using green points?

I keep saying this over and over. african pengins; buy them; they break the game in regard to currency. and they're cute AF... one sells for like 300 credits; and they breed like rats. and the enclosure limit is like 1,000....

Nope, in the game file this first happened in i only had bought 2 animals. I even tried putting a second trade centre in but it didnt work

May we assume you are not using any mods from places like nexus?
You noted you have a very slow internet connection, I wonder if that is creating the issue. Franchise relies heavily on a stable internet connection but I do not know if that is the answer though. You might check if your antivirus is blocking something since the last update.
