Monarch butterrfly cannot go in exhibit?

Monarch butterrfly cannot go in exhibit - it sais invalid placement when trying to add them..

How do i add them to zoo?

Having the same issue with two of my butterfly species. Did I miss something? It just says the

You can only add them to the walkthrough exhibit.

Also cannot add to walkthrough, is there an item like a rotten tree or something i have to place first for them to live in?

When looking at the butterfly it litterally sais "Exhibit".. maybe they should change that description lol

Mhh its weird you can't add them to the walkthrough. I just tried to make sure and they go in just fine. Did you try unpausing the game to place them?

Unpausing fixed it, thank you. I forgot pathing doesn't update immediately if you're paused.

Think they shold write "Walkthrough Exhibit" in the monarchs description to avoid confusion
