How does Quarantine work?
Hi, i just started playing and i am not sure how quarantine works. Tutorial said its better to put the animals into quarantine first before putting then into habitat. But if i put them into quarantine - nothing is happening? i dont see any notification, any progress bar, nothing. Is it instant? how do i know when i can get them from there and trasnfer them to habitat? should there be some notification?

If you put an animal into quarantine, it clears the animal of any unknown sickness it may have had when you bought it. When it's quarantine time is up, you will get a notification telling you that. Then you can go and put them into the habitat. It's not required though, most people don't sell diseased animals, but its better safe then sorry when you are starting out.

You should get a notification that animals in quarantine are ready. And if they have been there too long you should get another notification. For purchased animals most often players need not bother with placing in quarantine except for some of the career scenarios. Quarantine works well if there is sickness in a habitat to separate the infected from the healthy, so it is still useful. Note that we can't trade sick animals.

If you play franchise, you will mostly receive healthy animals, as they come from players and we can't sell sick animals. If you play the tutorial or scenario, always place them in there first. Sometimes they find something, other times not.

1 - You buy the animal: Players (Franchise Mode Market) can not sell (either for CC or for normal money, nor release in nature) sick or injured animals, so if you bought from a player, it is clean, But I always put in quarantine by guarantee. Exhibitions animals also have no diseases or wounds. But if you bought habitat animals from Frontier, it can come with disease.

2- A Veterinarian or a Caretaker takes the animal from the exchange center to quarantine. If the animal is sick or injured in the habitat, only the veterinarian takes the animal from the habitat to quarantine (or right to the Veterinary Post).

3- If the animal that was in the Trading Center is healthy, you receive the message saying that quarantine is finished and need to send it manually to the appropriate habitat. If the animal was in the habitat, it will automatically return when it is healthy, which sucks when they get adults, fight, get injured and you need to heal them to sell, they automatically return to the habitat, fight again, get injured again, and if you don't pay much attention this cycle can repeat itself for a long time.

4 – If he is sick, a Veterinarian will take him to the Veterinary Post to cure him. If he was in the Trading Center, he had returned to Quarantine and you need to send him manually to the habitat. If he was in the habitat, he had automatically returned to the habitat.

4 – Note that you will need a Veterinarians, Caretaker and a Veterinary Post (in addition to a Trading Center of course). Quarantine alone is not enough. It is also worth remembering that quarantine and Trading Center fit many, many animals, but each Veterinary Post can only support treating 1 animal at a time, which can be a problem in case of an Epidemic.
