Mod trouble
So was trying to add animal mods a bunch of fish some whales and monkeys. I mean a ton of fish. Was trying to add about 40 mods 20 were fish and I couldnt get Project Zoo to stabilize.
I loaded into a custom scenario just fine but after 5 min it crashes.

Is this game hard to mod?
Am I missing Something?
Is there an Animal limit?
Is it all the FISH?
Any programs to make this easier?
Any advise for somebody who has made merge patch of 647 Skyrim mods but cant seem to mod Project Zoo to save his life?

There is a recent thread there where a player determined the African Leopard mod is causing the game to crash, if a hexagonal glass piece is chosen for building after installing it.

If it was me in your position (don't mod this game myself), I would pull them all, verify game files and make sure the game is then running smoothly. After that, rather than add a bunch of mods back at the same time, just add them one at a time until you find the culprit. As grampers62 pointed out, you could be encountering a mod conflict, or an out of memory issue.

Project Zoo?

I would say you are missing a required mod. Most mods on Nexus require ASCE.

Had that I know how to check requirements in fact they come up in a pop up on nexus very hard to miss. So yes I unplugged it and plugged it back in already.

I believe also you have to have the animal that the mod is based on.

There can often be conflicts from one mod to another that creates an unstable game. Also depending on the architecture of ones computer one can get out of memory errors from adding too many mods to the game.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Thank guys because I am at a loss I even removed More Lang and the 4 mods I was using that needed it cause Morelang was only 1.10 but still crashing after a few min of game play.
I even took that time to recheck if everything was 1.11 and there wasnt a hidden 1.10 animal mod in there.

To be clear, you did run the game without any mods to see if crashing still occurred after removing them and verifying files? If it still crashed, I would look one more time to be sure nothing was accidentally left in game files after all. If nothing is there, I think the possibility that the save was corrupted has to be faced, if you weren't experiencing crashes before adding the mods. Without mods, try starting a new zoo, scenario, or download a sandbox zoo to play, instead of trying to resume playing the file that is crashing. If you still experience crashing, I'm out of things for you to try. You may have to contact customer support for help.

I know how aggravating this process can be. I hope you get it resolved soon.

I start a new sandbox zoo and delete the old every start up and still it crashes after a few min of play.
I will do a fresh install and see what happens.
After that i will take my files over to the official forums and try to track down leaf. Some are Leafs mods anyway.

I wish you luck in solving this soon.
