Aquatic Animals Bug

Apart from seals, aquatic animals like penguins and platypus will not move once placed in a habitat and in the terrain tab the land area will constantly say "calculating" before eventually autoboxing the animals. I know it's not a terrain issue since they'll do it on perfectly flat ground. Has anybody else had this issue?

Is this a new habitat or an existing one you are adding animals to? Is this a very large zoo? Does the gate area have a six meter arc of clear flat terrain around it?

It's a new habitat and the zoo isn't very big yet (only a few other habitats). The habitat is on the ground so the area around the gate is relatively flat if not pretty flat already.

Others have noted this bug but I have not seen it. First step is to confirm your computer exceeds minimum specs for the game and then validate game files through steam library. If problems persist file a bug report with frontier but be sure to add to an existing report if one is active. Instructions on how to file are pinned at the top of the forums.

I've noticed this happens to me sometimes when I use the null fence. The animals will go outside the boundaries and it will autobox them and fling them back to the habitat entrance.

And yes, it's always the aquatic animals.

I had this bug recently too, my otters and beavers wouldn't enter the habitat further than where they were dropped and I couldn't move them, even though guests would.
