Connection Issues

Is anybody else having issues when playing Franchise mode . I keep having to restart my game several time each time I play because I keep getting the message that i'm offline and need to check my internet connection and when I check my internet there is no issues. If there is a simple fix for this plz let me know it is driving me crazy.

I've had the issue as well, but have no idea what to do to fix it. Honestly, I thought it was just our shaky internet. Clearly, it's more than that.

Lmao on the shanky internet wording, I was thinking the same until you responded , I'm not happy to hear you are having an issue but I am happy that it is not my comp or internet. So thank you for responding

Many have had luck using disk cleanup from windows administrative tools. It works by clearing things left on ones computer when online that affect connections.

Thanks for the suggestion I will try this later and respond again if it works , I have already cleared my downloads steam ceche and that didn't work but i will definatly give this a try. Thanks

Hello, I have the same problem for a few days I don't know how to do it, the other games on steam work very well. I looked at all the forums and I can't find a solution... it reassures me that there are several of us in this case. If you find a solution, please get back to us. I even uninstalled my anti-virus, search for computer updates but nothing. I even deleted my saves but nothing. I'm so disappointed with this game there are too many bugs.

Hello, I have also connection problem.. again. It hapenned me about 3 months ago.. the game was unplayable.. but then, all of the sudden the "franchize connection" problem disappeared.. but now it's here again and I'm really annoyed. And I also have some other problems I saw people reporting like animals escaping, zookeepers do not clean habitats or feeding animals..

I have connection issues as well in franchise lately. Several times per gaming session.
Also, last night after being forced to quit I could not access Steam for a couple of minutes. I was getting a “SSL failed identification” message.

I have the same thing - probably for 2-3 weeks. It usually takes two times to get my Franchise page on the opening screen and will say that I have no connection. During a session it will say I'm not connected every now and then and lasts for about a minute. Maybe I'll try the disk cleanup.

It's often caused by network traffic on the internet and not as much one's connection.

Ok i have now done the following , i have cleared my download ceche on steam , i have done a disc cleanup on my laptop and i have done a defrag none of them worked and I am still having the connection to franchise issue :( . It is taking 3 attemps each time just to play

Have you tried changing server pings in steam settings to a lower number?

Not too sure how to do that but at this point i will give anything a go, although i will leave it until tomorrow i think trying to load the game 3x is enough for my sanity today.

For my part, I can't even launch a franchise anymore... so I play in sandbox mode. I've tried so many things that I don't know what to do! Planetzoo could perhaps look at what is happening, but how can we bring the problem to their attention? and I hope for a return that does not tell me about my internet connection because it is superb.

Well I changed my pings and unfortunitly that didn't work either
