Copying Issue's Please Help!!!

Hello, So my Issue is that im building on a wall and doing some detailing. I did all my work on one wall with the idea that id be able to copy it and move it to the other wall. but every time i try to just copy the one wall it copys the whole building and will not let me just select the peaces I want to. yet i see ppl on youtube doing exactly what im trying and it work for them so im so confused

Uh, don't know what exactly it's called in game. Select the building, then press R I think to go into build mode. Ctrl+select the piece you want to copy and either blueprint or duplicate them.
Once duplicated and moved a bit away, you can leave build mode to move them a bit easier.

[Moving Target]

The wall is a gridded item and the detailing most likely isn't, as Hlaine said select the building and press R to go into edit mode, CTRL click each of the detail items you want to copy then while still holding CTRL press X to advanced move copy them. Move them to the other wall and left click the mouse to place them, once placed they will remain selected as a group so if you need to place more on yet another wall press CTRL/X again to recopy and advance move them again. As soon as you do anything else after placing a selected group like that, for instance clicking on another item the grouping will cancel and you'd have to CTRL click each one again to get the group back. Remember while in advance move you can press X to switch between linear and rotational movement as much as you want without losing the grouping.
