Can you see your Zoo's continent/biome anywhere while IN the zoo?
....So, if you're in one of your zoos and you forget what continent you put it on, is there any place you can see this while IN the zoo? Or do you need to actually save and exit out to look?

I realize this is probably a very obscure question....thousands of hours played and I've never before forgotten the continent one of my zoos was in; I blame it on lack of sleep last night. (also, I realize biome is easy to see, based on the terrain brushes....but I can't see any way in-game to determine the continent without going back out to the world map).

Not that I know of other than what I do which is to include the continent's initials after the zoo name. Then, I can see it in game on the zoo tab.

I think the continent is actually only visible in the main menus before one loads a zoo. Once in it becomes irrelevant to the system as it uses only the biome settings within the zoo. But then.... players might like to know where they are.

Yah, I like to know the continent of my zoo because for decorative flora (i.e. that which is not in the habitat), I mostly stick to native plants. The zoo I'm working on right now was 'newish' and I was at the part where I wanted to start filling in empty space with plants and I had a total mind-blank as to what continent I was on. >.<

I realize you guys play franchise mode but this would also be helpful to a sandbox player like I am at the moment. Since I use downloaded sandbox zoos to see ideas implemented that I can try, with the perk of having a park to play to make that learning more fun for me, it wasn't long before the question of just what continent/biome the zoo was using arose. I looked at every tab in those zoos and saw nothing. I guess because I'm using downloaded zoos, there isn't anything that tells me what continent/biome comes into play from the my zoos menu either, which is a little disappointing.

This sounds to me to be a good idea for a suggestion on the main forums. I'll be glad to add my support to such a suggestion. It's a small detail that won't make or break gameplay but should, I think, not be too difficult to implement.

We might look to the overall design of the game to have zoo animals from all over the world in any zoo. Thus the continent concept was dropped in favor of using the biome to govern the animal and scenery placement. One might consider appending the zoo name to indicate the region if that helps.
