climbable or not. If it is not (e.g. red brick), there is no option to make it nonclimable
under the gear tab. If it is climbable (e.g. wood) there will be the option except for hedge barrier. Just an fyi, if you make the habitat barrier a nonperimeter one and then use a null field on the outside to make the habitat completion, you will have a nonclimable barrier that does not deteriorate but nonperimeter do not habitat blueprint unfortunately.
Good question. I have not done any beaver habitats in my zoos but usually when the habitat barriers are non-perimeter it takes them out of the realm of game provided habitat barrier requirements. If the wood construction materials work, I would think the non-perimeter wood barriers would work. Would provide a nice, rustic look.
Exactly. My first beaver habitat I totally forgot to read the Zoopedia barrier requirement and I used the log one for that very reason. I laughed pretty hard when the beavers shortly thereafter chewed through it and escaped....
I'm fond of the log barrier for smaller zoos where I'm looking for a rustic vibe.
I bet that was funny and the beavers appreciated it. A bit like building a rabbit hutch out of lettuce. :)
OMG I am dying!
