How do you build a climb barrier?
I can't remember how to add one to my walls.

If you click on a section/sections and see the options that are in the bottom right corner of your screen. Uncheck or check the climbing.

Actually, I still don't see it. The options down there are stuff like straight or curved walls, windows, or habitat perimeter...

Maybe it's just not researched?

As respects to the game habitat barriers, you do not need to research climbable/ nonclimbable. Mouse over the barrier icon and it will tell you if it is
climbable or not. If it is not (e.g. red brick), there is no option to make it nonclimable
under the gear tab. If it is climbable (e.g. wood) there will be the option except for hedge barrier. Just an fyi, if you make the habitat barrier a nonperimeter one and then use a null field on the outside to make the habitat completion, you will have a nonclimable barrier that does not deteriorate but nonperimeter do not habitat blueprint unfortunately.

Now that is interesting..... I like that idea

Totally random aside, but it has me wondering if that suggestion of using null barrier with the other barrier just inside of the habitat would work to use the wooden barriers for a beaver habitat.

Good question. I have not done any beaver habitats in my zoos but usually when the habitat barriers are non-perimeter it takes them out of the realm of game provided habitat barrier requirements. If the wood construction materials work, I would think the non-perimeter wood barriers would work. Would provide a nice, rustic look.

Exactly. My first beaver habitat I totally forgot to read the Zoopedia barrier requirement and I used the log one for that very reason. I laughed pretty hard when the beavers shortly thereafter chewed through it and escaped....
I'm fond of the log barrier for smaller zoos where I'm looking for a rustic vibe.

I bet that was funny and the beavers appreciated it. A bit like building a rabbit hutch out of lettuce. :)
