Help with computer requirements please
Hello, I hope this isn’t a bother..

I’m wanting to buy a computer and I recently stumbled across this game, it reminds me of when I played Zoo Tycoon as a kid haha. So I would like to get a computer that will play this game well and smoothly, and was wondering if I could have a bit of help please.

I only currently have 2 options in mind, they are the same brand and model but they have different Processors and different price tag.

I have checked the game requirements but just want to make sure that everything is all good.

MSI MAG INFINITE S3
Processor: 11th Gen Intel Core i5 11400F : 6 Cores, 12 Threads - base 2.60GHz - max turbo 4.40GHz
RAM: 16GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (12gb)

MSI MAG INFINITE S3
Processor: 11th Gen Intel Core i7 11700F : 8 Cores, 16 Threads - base 2.50GHz - max turbo 4.80GHz
RAM: 16GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (12gb)

Are both suitable for playing Planet Zoo?
Or would a computer with a slightly higher base GHz speed be better?
Thanks in advance.

While both would run the game fairly well I always tell people buying a new computer to spend as much as their budget would comfortably allow. It is wise to get a more powerful computer that might be strong for as much as ten years, but we must balance that with realistic thoughts of how much we can afford to spend.

Thank you for your response grampers62, I do appreciate it.
If I can afford it, do you think it would be a good idea to look for something a little better/powerful?

As I stated, it's always better in the long term to get a more powerful computer.
But I too have financial limits so I really know how difficult it is to decide on what we can really afford. Sometimes I wonder how they really manage pricing computers for retail, so shop around a bit.
One thing to watch out for is computers that use integrated graphics, they often boast high numbers but the way they work the numbers are not accurate.
