more than one platform
Is it possible to have more than one platform for the train and use it for transport?

Yes, but when you build a transport ride of any type it is built contiguously, so you have to lay the track from the first station until you reach the place where you want the next station. Then, from the track laying interface at the bottom of the screen, push the button along the left side to change from track mode to station mode, and you can place the next station.

Note you need the transport to be in loop mode, rather than shuttle mode, if you want more than 2 stations. For loop mode, Repeat this process for as many stations as you want to add and then finally connect it back to the original, first station with track.

It is possible to add all of your stations and then connect the tracks afterwards.

Doesn't seem to work that way. But one can place the station and then move it afterwards to get it where you want it.

Please explain how you do that, because for me it doesn't seem possible at all.

Once you have built past the station you can click on the station sections and move them as a group just like any other section of track. The limitation is that it only moves side to side.

I'm completely aware of that, my question was to @BArbieCollie who said you can build the additional stations before building the track leading to them. That sure doesn't seem possible in my game.

Granted, you can build the track up to the additional stations, place the stations, then go back and delete the track you had built. But that doesn't change the fact that you cannot actually place those additional stations without first building track up to them.

Moving them is also arguably also not entirely possible. You can indeed shift them side to side, plus up and down, but you cannot just "move" them anywhere that you want. It's quite limiting. The "move" button for rides, moves the entire ride as one piece. Every station and all tracks.

Exactly.

You can add and delete stations to an existing railway though. I had a loop train running across my zoo for a few years. As I expanded my Zoo, I closed the railway, pushed the edit track button, changed the layout of the track to make it a larger loop and added a station. I could have moved my existing 2nd station if I had wanted to by deleting it, and changing the track, and then adding a "new" station in place of the old.
