Which animals can be in the same habitat without killing or having issues (disregarding Zoopedia known ones)
Which animals have you figured out that can be in the same habitat without having issues, but that it isn't already listed in Zoopedia (so eg I know giraffes and loads of African animals can be in the same habitat as Zoopedia says so but I want to find the ones that aren't listed in Zoopedia). Does a list of this kind already exist somewhere?

Please help me out.
Thanks all X

i think you can tryout, say all grassland animals , not carnivorous , will go ok together.
one issue might be if its form different continents, the coverage may not be 100 % for all.

The compatibility charts mentioned are indeed a good start to deciding what species you would like to mix in your zoo. The operative part being your zoo. Think about your overall zoo design and think about where animals come from and the things they require in their respective habitats. Another point is the space required when mixing animals. For maximum animal welfare the habitat should be as large as the space for each species combined with only a few exceptions. Too many animals in too small an area at best will cause the more shy species to have social issues. So then it might become a balance of space versus how it looks.
These are just my thoughts and players should experiment and see what works for them.

Most of the resources for compatibility available, including those linked above, are flawed. They associate the compatibility of animals with continent and biome. Continent is not actually all that important and Biome is only important when the animals have foliage "coverage" needs.

What matters the most is their terrain, temperature, and coverage requirements. The requirements need to overlap for the animals to be happy.
Biome only matters if they are going to need a lot of plants, and continent doesn't really matter at all because 1. there are plenty of plants which overlap different continents and 2. the impact of plants from the wrong continent is negligible, as long as they are from the right biome.

The best resource online for checking for that compatibility is https://planetzooplanner.azurewebsites.net/ with the box for "allow incompatible continent" checked. Unfortunately, it hasn't been updated for the last several DLC packs.

I'm working on an excel spreadsheet which does the same thing. It's in progress. All the animals are in and it handles the important compatibility details fine, but it doesn't warn if the animals you try to combine will try to eat each other; it assumes you know which animals are carnivores, basically.
If you want to use it and have Excel, you can grab the link from the downlink link here:

I still feel the important part of who goes in with who is dependent on how you, as the creator, think things should be. Or in other words, what looks good to you.

I'm just putting them in together, and if they fight, I move one of them.
