paths and blueprints/construction
hey yall, so im a step closer in my retile house design in that i can now build around exhibits. However, my next issue is with linking paths to the grid. Ive been working on this design in sandbox, saving the blueprint, then deploying in franchise to see it in action. So i attached the path to the grid in sandbox, but when i redploy saved blueprint in franchise the path is gone from the edit group, which means it doesnt just hook onto an existing path like any other facility, its off the world grid. My only option seems to place it wherever the building will go, its big so its usually way off away from the park, then redo the path on the edit group grid, then attach a path to the that. I must be missing something here because that makes no sense as its way too wonky for something that should be this straightforward. Any clues or advice?

paths are not saved in blueprints.

So does this mean that any blueprint i make is going to have to be placed before, and then i build a path to it? Theres no way to get a blueprint building to hook to a path i guess, unless there are facilities placed on the outside edge. In my instance, its like a museum hallway with exhibits inside. So there own hook is inside the buiding edge....if this all makes sense....My issue is really something that should be straight forward but explaining why its a problem is more difficult than the problem itself hahaha....

Yes, you need to place the blueprint first, then work on the paths.

I usually start making the path from the building itself, and then connect it to the main path of your zoo. So the order would be: place the blueprint > build the path inside the building > connect with the main path.

if its a habitat with a door you can hook it up, exhibits yes you will need to build all new paths
