Construction with Exhibits Question

Hi, id like to create a reptiles house building where guests go in one end and view repilte exhibits and then exit the other end. In a sense a big indoor hallway. Ive laid down a floor on the grid for the group and then i stripped down some indian exhibit blueprints, thinking i could attach the exhibits to the floorplan grid. But, i cant seem to do that. If i cant do that, is my only option to build the blueprint of the hall way first and then add the exhibits after the majority of the building is built? God it would be so easy to just stick the exhibit on to the grd and build aroudn it. Does my query make sense? >_<

You can’t place them right on top of the path if that’s what you’re trying to do. If you can remove a path section you should be able to put the exhibit in the place of the path.

No i want to add an exhibit to a grid is basically what im asking. Its in construction mode. I want to create a building with exhibits inside it.

Not sure I'm understanding, but I re-read your first post and it sounds like you are using floor construction pieces and you want to snap an exhibit to those? They won't snap to that you need a path for it to work. You can put the floor pieces over the path later if you want.

Hm.... i don´t see the problem here.... you can first build the House with the Holes for the Exhibits to add them later.

Like in this Screen, the Exhibits will simply "snap" automatically into the "Holes"

hi Caduryn: i see what youve done there and i see in the blueprints you have a unadorned Exhibit square. How did you do that?
