Are they going to make it so the franchise maps wont be flat?

It would be nice to have some sort of algorithm to build a landscape in sandbox but you never know, it may be added at a later date. Or, to use real world location mapping for a slightly more realistic aspect to the game.

I really hope so, i would love either some more powerful tools to make varied maps faster or different premade maps to choose between
