turn off weather and day/night

can i do this? im trying to build something and i cant see ♥♥♥♥. Im enjoying this game but some of the design and UI clunkiness is aggravating. This should be a simple thing to find.

I'm not sure you can turn off weather entirely but in settings/graphics you can change weather effects between low and high. If it's dark you can use "L" for a flashlight or you can set your opening time zoo/overview to daytime only hours. (Say 5:00 to 17:00) As far as I know this doesn't affect your guests or anything, just the day night cycle.

You can turn the weather off in Sandbox mode.

You can glitch to daylight in Franchise mode by selecting something to blueprint, setting the time of day in blueprint mode then exiting out without actually making a blueprint - the time of day in live mode will then be the same as your BP setting
This is a better option than changing your opening times as doing that will reduce your income per 24 hour period.

In what mode, maybe because I'm in sandbox mode, but even when I pause the lighting changes. Which is actually weird because you'd think it wouldn't pass the time of day. Weather does not change though. Maybe I have a bug.

Building in sandbox you can choose the weather. Just click the time in the lower right and there are icons for the type of weather to pick from on that new panel. Note one must unpause the game to get the weather to change to the selected type.
