Planet Zoo in Windows 11
I tried to research this question with no luck. If anyone out there that has already switched from Win 10 to Win 11 can answer this please. I want to update to Windows 11 but I have my Francise Zoo that I REALLY worked on and like and Im afraid I will lose that file in the update. I really do not want to build that zoo again. Here's the questions: Does the file switch over to Windows 11 with the update and if not, how can I save that file externally to run in Windows 11? Thanks in advance

I don't see why the files would be lost and even if they did, your saves are backed up to the Steam cloud.
If you really want 100% assurance then continue on reading.

Your save files are here:
C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\Frontier Developments\Planet Zoo\76561198184430574\Saves

Copy and paste the save files onto a flash drive.
Update Windows.
Copy and paste the save files back into the same original folder.

Save files are saved on the Cloud. I literally switched entire PC's and I still have my career progress. You'll be fine if you update.

I updated my PC to Windows 11. If you use the Windows Update it is literaly only an update, you keep all your files. Pictures and all. If you do a clean fresh install, you will of course lose all your files. But as Jackerino already said: as long as you play over steam, you keep your game files saved in the steam cloud. Just make sure you have that option activated and save eventuell mods, so you zoos stay playable.
