My game was crashing when reaching like above 3000+ guests. What I did:
1. Set CPU Vcore loadline calibration from auto to medium. I have an overclocked CPU so I thought maybe the voltage isn't stable.
2. Did a complete clear install of GPU drivers with DDU.

My game no longer crashes. I have now almost 6000 guests. I don't know which method worked (maybe both) but I can play now without crashes.

This worked in my case, can't promise it will work for you but I thought it is worth to share it with others. Good luck.

Tell us about your computer.
In steam click help and select system info. Copy and paste that here and perhaps someone can point out something that will help.
Same, I constantly meet the same issue, I have contacted the support and they asked me to do a DDU and to verify game files, it helps me to play the game longer before it crash but only temporary. Im back to square one with the same problems with almost instant crash when playing in franchise mode.

There was a new driver released this week.
I thought that was the issue, however even after I did a rollback of the update, the crash till occur. The support team recommend trying debug mode of in the nvidia control panel. This helps a little but the crash still occur though, really not sure why

Are you certain your power supply is strong enough and the graphics power connections are with separate wires?

Yup, I am using a 650W for a 3070, meeting the recommendation from nvidia. Will probably wait till the next graphic update to see if it fix. Till then I will just be playing career which doesnt crash for me.

Yeah, that 650 might be listed as enough for the card but It is prudent to get a bit more than recommended to account for other system needs like any over clocking or extra hardware in the system.

myarip It is too soon to tell if windows 11 is causing issues with Planet Zoo but many players do seem to be able to play it in windows 11. Being a laptop I wonder if there might be overheating issues causing protect faults to cause the crashes. Be sure that you have good airflow around and specifically under your laptop when playing Planet Zoo.
