Boat Ride

I am currently terrain editing for a new franchise map and trying to plan ahead a little. I have not used the river boat ride yet, is there a water depth requirement to use it? Also, if i want to edit the river later and have to remove the water will the boat ride structure and track allow it or will I get the obstructed warning?

Yes the boat ride will cause the obstructed warning when removing and replacing the water.
I usually set the water level and place the ride in a test area before doing a lot of terrain work or building. Remember that one may use the advance movement on the entire track to raise and lower it without moving it in the x and y axis.
