Visitors stuck in transport ride
I found no info on the forums about this issue which I have in all my zoos, with all my transport rides. They work well for a while and then some visitors get stucked in it. They don't get off at the station or at any of the stations if I have many. Many people queue for getting it, but of course they are stucked in the queue. The only solution I found is to break a piece of the rail and put another one, re-open and voila. Even tough, after a while the same problem comes again. At the moment, my safari, gondola and two boat rides are totally broken :-(

I had that on mine as well. But where my ride goes through a habitat, they got on at stations that don't go anywhere special except the next station, so they inevitably do not get off until they have gone through the habitat at least once. So several cars go through packed and then an empty one comes along and they all get off.

I tried placing a food court near the station to encourage at least some to get off more often but it didn't help too much...

Needless to say they all got upset and eventually left the zoo requesting a refund.

I have thus come to the conclusion that it is best to only place a station where there is something they want to get off for. So start off with maybe one or two stations in either a continuous circuit if a large track system or in a shunt two station short ride to get from A to B. And then adjust as needed or able at a later date.

So I don't think the transport system is broken but more the case that we haven't identified when a food court is enough to get off of a vehicle or when a habitat or exhibit or souvenir shop.

I'm curious, are all three of those rides in the same zoo? I've found rides work well if you have a large zoo and guests upon entering would have to walk for ages to see the first thing on their list. Then they hop a ride.

My ride does make money but the get off/on nearer the entrance and get off/on at the very back. I don't try to pull them in with shops. I find, unless you've island cut off all guests from drinks/food, except for the ride, shops don't work. High desire animals at the very back does. So timber wolves, flamingos and the like when they walk in. Drink and toilet near by, ride. Lots of graduation animals in between with hats, balloons etc. in between. Eles and tigers at back with Exhibits and food/drink.

They get on alright constantly. And my Gondola runs over their heads on the 10 size path at the edge, not really in habitats. On the ground and the ride everyone is happy.

Note on island cut off method. You can and will get stuck guests unless you zero out the cost of the ride back so they can leave. Some will *not* spend money or pull out more money to get home. They'll just jump up and down.

Edit: lil typos

Just to clarify a few things. All these rides are in the same zoo, and they have been popular and worked correctly for hours. But at some point, it does not work anymore : not a single passenger gets off the boat/gondola/jeep/train at any station. If I don't stop the rides manually they will stay in the ride forever.
Generally I have to remove and replace a piece of track in order to make it work properly again. Switching on and off is not enough.
I know that some players have a problem of no visitors using their ride, but I do not have this problem.

What's your delay time and are the guest paths (not queue) as close to where the quests get off the ride?

I have found (problems) at middle of the station or farther back that it is the cause. But the nearest point where the ride leaves the station. If exit is right there, there isn't any problem. Do you happen to have a screen shot?

Thank you for your help. I don't think it has to do anything with the delay time. I don't play with it and the guests have plenty of time to get off.
Regarding the exit point, I have never paid too much attention to it. I'll have to play again to double check it, but indeed I generally put it at the back of the station, I think. I'll try to modify it and we'll see.

I'm pretty sure this is some sort of a bug and not something you did wrong. I noticed the exact same issue in my Franchise Zoo today with the Safari ride. It worked well in the last month. I didn't change anything in regards to the track, stations or timing.

I Noticed the ques were getting long and started tracking the guests. Saw some guest in the same vehicle getting out at the station, while the other half stayed in the vehicle. I followed them through the zoo. They completed a loop through all 3 stations without getting off. I then clicked on some other guests. Their stats were all red except for tiredness, so they must have been stuck on the ride for a while.

I also closed the stations and went into edit track to reset the ride. Things went back to normal for a while and then some guests started not getting out again. I also have a suspended gondola in the same zoo, but so for it's not affected.

Yes Ta-Liland, this is exactly what I am experiencing. Now I have started a new zoo and have not put any ride yet.

I have had a boat ride in my zoo for a while now, guests loved it. The last few days though, they have loved it so much, no one ever gets OFF it.. they are stuck, sit there going around and around, stopping but, not getting off. they are starving and thirsty and because they are stuck and not getting off, no one is getting ON as well*even though the que to get on is full). I have not changed anything to the boat ride, nor have I changed or added anything new to the front area, and my mechanics keep it in the green. And NOW, as of today, when I turn the boat ride OFF, it does not stop, its totally bugged out. I had to delete the entire thing. I tried to delete just the Station and re hook it up to the walkways.... but as soon as I did.. the power was STILL turned off.. the boat started going again.. Is it because the Ride is considered "old"? even though it is well maintained and has worked great before this past few days.
I figured I best just delete it because, people stuck on the boat were unhappy, the people waiting to get on were unhappy and guests that kept saying the que to get on was full, lose lose situation.. eek, will try to rebuild it again sometime in the next few days to see if my game is still being a buggy jerk with it. lol

Sorry I can't help. I don't do rides anymore, because of this issue. Also to save FPS.

So, I re did it.. it worked fine for about an hour of gameplay then they started up again.. Deleted it and just went with walking path around the outside of the island.. over the water.. to keep the cash flow coming in from the animals there. heh.

I am having the same issue. I even created a different shuttle only monorail thinking the visitors wanted to get to the other side of the park. They didn't get off of the ride with a shuttle either. It would be good if there was a setting to make departures mandatory. It would also be nice if visitors could "change their mind" so they don't spend their whole zoo experience in a queue which lasts for weeks and not seeing any animals at all.
