Do you use the mouse or keyboard short cuts to raise/lower paths? I haven't had any path problems outside of the usual difficulties.

It seems if one is trying to raise a path it doesn't seem to be working. Try raising a section farther from other paths and check the result.

Unless you have a mod affecting it, the game has not changed as far as I can see. I assume you are using shift to raise the path for your overlook near an existing path? Just hold down shift and control , use your mouse and it works fine. Granted that a T-junction overhead 2 or 3 meter path (for staff, animals, etc.) does get a bit tedious due to the length.

its when im trying to use the grid.. using 4m wide path, iv been following a you-tubers design... it used to work perfectly fine before using the shift button and pull up on the mouse, but now its not working and now making me not play the game as its over frustrating. iv not played the game for months now due to these problems and i was super happy when i finally got the game, now im kind of disappointed. ill keep trying other ways but i think planet zoo needs to think about their controls a lot better. thanks for the comments

And to add.... it would let me raise a path without a grid selected but not when the grids selected to do singular paths it wont raise them... only up in height.. not at a slope/ramp angle path. very confusing/stressful!!

While in grid mode it won't do stairs. You lay out your multi level grids the exit grid mode to connect them. A useful tool is hold ctrl to keep paths from auto connecting when you don't want them to.

As mathletee said grid mode will not do stairs- if you look at curved slopes in grid selected, you will see that it is not available as an option. You may already know this but if you are trying to get your multi level grids aligned, use the elevation slider to set the stairs' height and snap 90 degrees the stairs from the ground grid. That will line up the next higher level grid.

but from what i can remember it wasn't like this before... even when i had the grid selected using 4m wide paths then 2rows wide to make -(8m path) i was able to delete a few paths and then raise 1side of the path into a slope. i wish i had made a video clip or something to upload to make this easier somehow but think ill just save the stress levels of this game and hopefully 1 day it will be on console like planet coaster with simpler controls.
