The lack of AI is probably not a bad thing because of the memory load this game requires. Even good PCs just cannot handle so much going on if you try to fill the entire map. As zoos get bigger, there are more issues with stuck animals, climbing/pools not being recognized, and staff forgetting their brains.
Not really a gripe and just an observation, I do feel like some of the latest animals are a little wonky. I'm not sure if this is a cut in staff so maybe the PZ dept isn't getting the same QA. Some of the animal animations are still beautiful and realistic, but I notice more glitchiness/weirdness in some of the animals from the North American and North African packs. I do not like watching the moose climb up/down hills, it makes me quite uncomfortable
I know what you mean about glitches in larger zoo's, as soon as mine gets to a decent size the animals walk through walls quicker than Casper!
