Heightmap downloads

Hi, I'm not very good with this computer stuff, so can someone explainthe following:
I have downloaded a heightmap from the Workshop and it installed. However it fails to show up when starting a new game. It's not in the heightmap folder in the Steam folder or my personal Frontier Developments folder.
Can anyone please help? Cheers.

Have you tried looking under "zoos" sometimes certain things show in that screen that don't show as workshop items.
