Climbing Area Bug/Glitch

So there is a glitch I have been experiencing ongoing. Basically, any animal requiring climbing areas suddenly have no climbing area. They worked perfectly fine before. If an animal had already climbed onto something- let's say, a rock- they are shown to have zero space and protesters come. I used to just reload the game a few times and the animals could use their habitat as usual. This has stopped working and multiple of my zoos are frustratingly unenjoyable to even try and play. Does anyone have any tips to make this stop?

Pausing the game and removing a section of habitat barrier then replacing it worked for some. I'm not sure if you would need to box your animals before doing this so they don't get marked as escaped.

I think I know what happens. Your animals are climbing from a climbable item and jumping to another which has no means for them to climb down. Either the jump is blocked or too far for them to get back. I had this happen when red pandas got on their shelter roof and got stuck there.
The fix is to add something for them to climb off of the offending structure like a climbable log or a ramp of some type.

I've had this happen several times, including yesterday after a game crash. So far, all I've had to do is visit each habitat and slightly move a piece of the climbable apparatus, or, if a small climbable object is present, move it slightly and everything is climbable again.

Personally, I don't have a clue why this glitch happens. Yesterday it was after a game crash but I've also had it occur a couple of times just loading a save.

A few of my stonebuilds and animal houses are also suddenly not in the traversable area anymore. No getting in or on them anymore and they were easily traversable before. I had to restructure a lot of them. Whatever they did I would prefer if they changed it back before I have to rebuild a few things from scratch...
