Nature filter by species?

hi guys, when I build a habitat for an animal, I miss a filter to select the right plants and trees for that species - I know we can do that through the biome, but it still doesn't work properly, because several species complain about certain vegetation, even being from the right biome. Is there such a filter option? Thanks

In the nature menu at the bottom you can filter the species 👍

use the continent filter as well as the biome :)

not in my game...... this is very weird - I have the following filter options in Nature:

_ Filters
_ Biome
_ Continent
_ Properties
_ Theme
_ Content Packs
_ Types of vegetation

No species filter!! My game is in Portuguese, I translated the topics above

You're right. I'm just checking. I don't have Species in the Nature filter but I do have it in the Habitat filter.

Try that. All filters may or may not apply I guess. Try setting the habitat Species filter to your animal then see what plants appear?

I do agree it's worth of a change for sure.

yes, the filter has always been only in habitats - then the animals complains about the trees and you delete them... not very clever

When you click on an animal the pop up box tells you the country they are from and the type of plants they like. Then you click the Nature tab and select those.

ok that I kinda knew... but still too much steps for something simple like inserting the species filter on Nature menu :-)

It may seem simple, but it's no doubt a vast amount of programming. The thing is, though, you already know the species. It's the one you are wanting plants for, and the info box tells you where they are from and what type.
