Issue with Plants

Coverage is at 61% but it is still saying 0% Plants for my Caiman. Anyone have a fix for this? No plants in my habitat are showing red that they need to be removed. Thanks!

I think the two bars mean how many plants there are, and the bottom bar says how many plants they can use to hide in. Handy for shy animals. But some plants need a lot or some huge ones to register how many you have. A lot, so many it's a wonder visitors don't moan they can never see the animals no matter where they stand. I think it's just distance from the animal that causes them to moan.

OperationThunderbolt You have to add trees lol I thought plants were just plants in general, but its actually the size so trees are the best way to get that to 100%

Is that not what I suggested? :) Some plants are just plants, others are cover. If you notice, each plant in Nature has a box next to it, with various degrees of fill. I am sure that the more filled it is the more they have to hide in.

The plants and coverage are kind of like two separate things. If the coverage is high then you may have too many trees. Some animals don't like dense coverage and need more open areas so you'll need to remove the trees, it also includes trees placed slightly underground (to looks like bushes)

Plants is the number of different plants around the whole habitat, including flowers, grasses, shrubs and trees

Sadly, some animals have low tolerance for plants so their habitats may look more barren in comparison. Though plants don't really affect welfare that much if the other needs are meet. So, it’s okay to go slightly over their plant requirement to beautify the habitat more.
