Myers Sunshine Happiness Zoo - Strategy for gold star 90% average welfare during inspector visit requirement?
Unless there's a workaround for this particular scenario, the amount of animals and exhibits required to be taken care of by five zookeepers in order to be above the 90% welfare requirement during the inspector's visit is essentially impossible. There are so many tasks the zookeepers must keep up with, and even with all of them at five star training, the list of things they must do at any given time stacks up too high for them to keep the AVERAGE welfare of all animals above 90%. I've been close a couple times, where the only reason it didn't complete was because my cheetahs had 8 babies all at once and required so much extra space their welfare dropped considerably. This inspector visit is the only thing keeping me back from getting this gold star, and it's been driving me nuts. Is there a strategy anyone has to mitigate the amount of supposed stress I've been putting on my zookeepers? If the strategy includes getting rid of the troublesome animals preventing such high average welfare, will that not remove my clearance checks for the other completed gold star requirements?

Side note: I think I've noticed a pathing issue for the exhibits in the main food court area with the iguana and spider and the rest of the "exhibit" animals in this scenario. For the middle exhibits, zookeepers have trouble reaching them and keep walking back and forth in the same 15 foot length of the path. They reach one point, then turn around and start walking for a couple seconds before turning around again, reaching the same point they were at originally before turning around AGAIN and repeating this process until they get tired and don't take care of the exhibits. One of the fixes I think helped was to redo the pathing connections to each of the exhibits so that they registered as being connected for guests and staff to use.

Also also, there seems to be a guest spawn glitch outside of editable park grounds. As guests walk from the generation point, there is a path section that causes guests to all of a sudden stick together and start bouncing around as if they were trying to walk past each other, but can't because something is holding them all together. This group fluctuates in size depending on how many people are wanting to enter and leave the zoo, but I have no way of inspecting this unless I were to close my zoo (which I really don't want to do at such a late point in this game).

Was that the one in Russia with snow everywhere? That was the map where you couldn't hire nor fire any staff, right?

Trying to remember what I did to handle that one. I know I expanded a lot of the habitats by moving the posts. I trained all the staff up to the maximum, expensive though it was, since it enabled them to work more efficiently. I made sure to capitalise on every possible welfare booster that didn't require manual upkeep, like getting plants, terrain, temperate and enrichment perfect. I also replaced the glass windows with one-way glass to reduce animal stress.

In fact I don't remember having any trouble with animal welfare whatsoever. Most of them were between 95% and 99% constantly. What really annoyed me on that Russian map was preventing pickpockets. I had to burn so much damned money on security cameras.

Yes, this scenario doesn't allow for further hiring nor firing of staff members. The trouble for me is the constant reproduction of the animals, despite that sounding like reproduction should be a good thing, and how quickly their habitats get dirty. The zookeepers simply cannot keep up with cleaning all of the habitats that are spread out, while also having to feed the animals and anything else they must do. The lack in ability, so far, to make this final requirement easier to clear is frustrating because I just want to earn this star and be done with it, not keep sitting at my desk for two hours or more waiting for the inspector to show up, only to not clear the really high average welfare because my cheetahs made their habitat so dirty they are no longer happy. It may sound like, "Oh, well just release most of your cheetahs into the wild and you'll be fine". Except the problem also lies in other parts of the zoo that can't be worked on unless I have enough zookeepers! It's a cascading effect that grows and shrinks throughout waiting for the inspector to show up, and it's bothering me to a T. I have a sneaking suspicion that the scenario can still be cleared even if you don't have all the original animal species in the habitats, so long as you still give your guests something to look at and keep your animals' welfare above 90% average. All of my other requirements are cleared EXCEPT for this one task. I am hoping there is some solution to getting this last requirement without too much headache.
Hehe, yeah, if nothing else helps and all the other objectives are completed already, you can get rid of all the animals except one (tortoise is a good choise) and the reporter will only visit that one. Should be easy to complete the 90% welfare task like that :)
In the regular Career scenarios, I think once you accomplish an objective, it will stay ticked. So you shouldn't lose any existing ticks if you just focus on getting the Welfare one by removing some animals, etc. In the *timed* Career mode, you can lose your ticks, but I don't think that happens in the regular Career scenarios. Someone pls correct me if wrong.
