Yes, still happens on my system. Also performance gets worse over time and I need to restart the game every couple of hours or so.

I have that trouble as well. The bigger the zoo, the slower it seems to get. And a bit jerky at times. I can tell when my zoo is getting to big and too busy when I have to pause to lay paths, and they lay very slowly.
My specs are similar to yours. I have an i7, but not sure which one it is (it's 6 years old). I have a GTX1050 TI with 4gb RAM. You don't say what RAM yours is, some are only 2, even if it's the same model of card. The monitor should not make much difference to how PZ runs.
I have 16GB RAM. I would suggest you try more RAM strips. Another 8GB.
I have an SSD, and the game is on that (as is Windows) and they run very fast.

A: yes, that's a good card.

A: 16gb is usually the norm for reasonable gaming machines, and usually the cheapest upgrade option. But do be careful what you get because some high-end strips demand more wattage than a MB can cope with. I can upgrade my RAM, only prob is this.

I have the 1333MHz DDR3 8GB Ram Stick. Living in South Africa, you can not find those sticks anymore, and when you do, they cost more expensive than their upgraded counterparts.

So this leaves me with the option to purchase a DDR3 8GB Ram Stick that is the next line in speed supported by my Motherboard which is 1600MHz. Now I do not know if I can get myself a 1600MHz DDR3 8GB Ram Stick while using a 1333MHz DDR3 8GB Ram Stick aswell as the speeds differ between the two.

I read up on it and people say yes you can do it, the 1600MHz will just downgrade to a 1333MHz aswell. Others say to not do it.

Following your website, they also recommend me the 1600MHz DDR3 8GB Ram Stick even though it cleary shows it picked up my 1333MHz DDR3 8GB Ram Stick.

So I am kind of on the fence as to whether to get the 1600MHz DDR3 and try my luck and see what will happen as it seems like a 50/50 thing??

One of my sons used that Crucial scanner, took note of what it suggested, then found them cheaper on Amazon. I understand that Africa is not the same as the UK, where I live, when it comes to internet access, but can you not order them on line?

The same son, for another PC, bought some expensive 'Gaming' ram. Two 4gb strips. he slotted them in and the PC would not start! He took them out, all was OK. The conclusion was his MB could not run them. Swapped them for a pair of 'normal' strips and all was well.

Even with Online access options are limited. 80% of the stuff found on Amazon, New Egg ect can not be found on South African Websites. So it actually sucks really bad that the things I want to get, can not be accessed.

Yes I can order from Amazon or any other site, but importing fees kills me.

Yes you have to check your Motherboard and what Speeds and type Ram it supports. And then decide from there on forward. Can not just stick anything into any slot and expect it to work.

It doesn't matter how good your PC is, that problem will never go away. It's caused by Frontiers' crappy Cobra engine. The problem will remain for the lifetime of Planet Zoo. Only by building a new engine and therefore, Planet Zoo 2, will it ever be better.

Works for me. Perhaps those it does not work for should post on Frontier's own forum? They may find answers there.

What are you talking about? You said it doesn't at the top of the page:

"I have that trouble as well. The bigger the zoo, the slower it seems to get. "

I said I have trouble with running huge zoos, I did not say my game crashes, just starts to slow down. Hardly the same problem some have, who cannot run the game at all, or keeps crashing. Hard to understand the difference? How about coming up with a fix?
