Is there a way to undo path deletion?

I'm not going to talk much about the interface, it's not exactly my most favorite one, but is there a way to undo an accidentially deleted path? It's happened quite a few times now for me that I deleted a path and could not recreate it, essentially meaning that all I could really do is to start over.

I'm pretty sure there are undo buttons at the bottom of the screen. One to undo stuff and one to undo your undone stuff. Maybe I'm confusing it with a different game but most games like this have it.

To undo, press Ctrl + Z
Redo is Ctrl + Y
