Esc key stops working randomly?

I've noticed with the new update that the Esc key stops working randomly. Seems to be when I switch out of menus, but can't recreate it as I can't find specifically what triggers it. I've sent a report to Frontier, but was curious as to if anyone else has noticed this? And if you know how to fix it without having to exit the game.

Yes I get the same thing happening with the esc key. As for the scrolling my game would scroll to the right just as I was going down the animal list brought up when you click on the barrier - animal option. Once I turned off scrolling in the options it was better.

Same here. This game is more buggy than Coaster.

Sounds like more of the game losing input issues rather than any settings for the game or system hardware.

just had this happen after doing a career mode zoo for a while and thank god its not my fault somehow lol. tested my esc key and it works just fine outside of the game so idk why it stopped reading it!

Thought it was just my keyboard, i never considered that it could be an issue with the game

I suggest using right click- It works the same as escape(In most cases) and will work until they fix this problem. I also found that restarting the game fixes it.

You can always rebind your keys but it's not a real fix. I like to save my game progress often manually and I do it by going into the menu with ESC. My old brain can't handle other keys.
