Esc key stops working randomly?

I've noticed with the new update that the Esc key stops working randomly. Seems to be when I switch out of menus, but can't recreate it as I can't find specifically what triggers it. I've sent a report to Frontier, but was curious as to if anyone else has noticed this? And if you know how to fix it without having to exit the game.

Yes, it has happened to me as well @Mister Rupert. It seems to happen after I've been working the zoo for a longer period of time.

It happens to me when ever I type in the name or when I name work zones the most often.

Yeah, it's really frustrating. It happens like every 10 minutes or so for me.

Little bit more digging. -Seems- to be a problem with the animal information panel in the zoo menu. Can anyone confirm this`?

Yeah it does seem like it gets stuck at times or lagged.

I'm thinking it is tied to how the game uses xml and the issues related to getting mouse functions to work with it. Could also explain why the menus do not have decimal numbers, only integers. And some of the issues with imperial conversions. (Why things seem off when using that measurement system) Could also explain the loss of mouse input when the game loses focus.
