Dead Animal

I have a vet that was assigned to remove a dead wolf but it somehow got bugged out and is standing right next t it but is not picking it up. i have tried to place objects and paths to try and re set it but it won't work. It won't allow me to unassigned the vet nor assign a new vet to the wolf so the body is just laying there. I have tried to fire him as well but he stays in the same spot, and the game still hasn't allowed me to reassign a vet.

I ditched a massive Sandbox zoo i was working on because of this exact issue - I ended up with 3 dead animals & 3 frozen vets. I couldn't solve the problem, tried the same as yourself, hopefully someone here can help out

All you can do is wait for the animal to decay/remove itself from the zoo. This is becoming a more frequent issue. I had a koala that took ten game years to go away.

I had that and just removed the "Vet urgently called" order. He then took out his little notice board and another vet came to remove ther body. I guess it is some issue when two vets at the same time want to use the same path and the game is getting confused

Thank you, I hope my game does the same. At least there is a chance that it could "fix itself".

This seems to happen a lot lately in my zoos. Do you think they could make a "fix" by allowing you to change the Staff's work zone (force him to leave the area) ? Maybe they could make a cancel button where it shows you the Staff location and their activity? "Removing carcass from ..." add a cancel option. Basically the "Move" button is stuck on these staff members. Kind of ironic ----

A cancel or end job/task option for staff would be great. Too many times it seems staff get hung on jobs that never end.

Hello. How exactly did you do that? I can't seem to get rid of the "Vet urgently called" task and I currently have 3 dead animals stuck in my zoo (thus 3 different vets stuck as well) and it's really getting on my nerves. I invested too many hours in this one to just abandon it for this stupid bug...
