Removing Original Zoo Entrance In Franchise Mode?
Is this even possible? I've tried every way imaginable and it doesn't seem to want to let me replace the old entrance. Do we have to keep it and simply make additional new ones if we want to play in franchise mode?

But we can build a new facade in front of the old one to hide that hideous new world monster.

I agree with chasbar. It is bothering me a bit, that it has to be that one style. They could also let us choose which style it should be and not let us pick placement, if that is the problem for the first entrance.

In one franchise zoo I tried making a completely new entrance on another side of the map and just left the original one alone and did not connect any paths too it. It worked for a little while then guests at the original entrance starting complaining about being stuck.

The thought of having to place an entry building would seem the most equitable for the game and would not require much change to the base game other than eliminating the current building, additional starting funds and a prompt to add them like the ones to add the other facilities.

It´s annoying and there is a simple solution! Just provide maps without(!) any entrance. No need to destroy one anymore. The people who did this before, didn´t do this to collect money anyways, but to build an entrance where they wanted it. Since we can build new spawn points wherever we want it doesn´t even make sense! If you buy a piece of ground in real life it doesn´t come with a pre-build entrance, you have to start from the scratch. Why can´t we have the same in the game, in franchise mode? So please, devs, I´m begging you, please change this!

Yes, there were people who did it for the money to help build their franchise zoo. There were even discussion tips on how to make it a "cash cow".
Not having an entrance at the start would make for a ton of "where is the entrance???" questions.
But, I agree, we should have the ability to get rid of that original zoo entrance. Just forget about a cash return and just give us the ability to delete it and build our own. it would be great to have our own themed entrance in franchise. Ah, well, maybe someday. :)

What I´m doing right now is to de-activate the four original spawn points and don´t build any path connection to the two original entrance gates and hide them behind an additional building that is connected to the original one. So actually I have one building just for decoration, to hide the original entrance. But it´s still stupid that this has to be done, I just want to get rid of the old entrance.
