Crash problems during startup

Hi guys, is anybody have crash problems during the starup? 'cause yesterday i've download the new update 1.6 and the game doesn't works!! How can i resolve the problem?? Maybe the problem is the italian server? idk.

You most likely need to verify game files through the steam library. (it might take a couple of tries)

I have the same problem. Cannot get into the game at all. I have verified files, nothing happened. Now i am trying to reinstall the game and see if that works.

i have verified files 4 times or more, but it doesn't works... maybe
the developers are trying their best to fix it..

This seems to be an issue for many people. I would suggest you file a ticket with frontier next.

In the mean time be certain nothing else is running and steam overlay and/or big picture are not on.

Mein Englisch ist leider ne absolute Katastrophe XD Ich hab aber das gleiche Problem wie ihr. Hab dem Support auch schon geschrieben, mal sehen was bei rum kommt.

Also make sure you don't have any mods in your ovldata folder. If you haven't directly placed anything into that folder then that should't be an issue. Mods installed outside the steam workshop are a known issue. I have several and they will crash the game at start every time till they are removed.

I was having the same problem and then I remembered that I had installed a mod. Once I removed the mod it started up just fine. Thanks SearchN for mentioning it!

Ich habe auch diese problem und vom Support kommt null, ist nicht das erste mal. konnte das spiel schon paar tage nicht spielen nach einem Update oder das kaufen eines neuen DLC´s.......

Yes pilznils, that folder is where you place mods you have downloaded outside of steam. You should always read any installation instructions though if available just to be sure, but all I have downloaded have gone into that folder. Until they update their mods you'll still get game crashes so make sure any mods you download are the most recent and not old files created prior to the Planet Zoo update. As with any mod for any game you download at your own risk.
