What is the "world grid"
So I've watched a video about building and there it said, it is important to start building corosponding to the world grid and then move it around, but the video didn't go into detail what exactly that is, can someone tell me what that is or how to see it please?

The world grid refers to the direction of the item movement when one changes from relative to world on the advanced placement of objects. That's the second icon on an items movement tool. Most items (especially grid items) are made so that when placed they are aligned with that grid. So that video simply meant that when you start a new building Only rotate it 90 degrees or not at all to make it easier to add and move non grid items like lights and plants and things.

Yes that is correct. It is better to build something in an open space and then move it to the location you desire. Place the first gridded piece without rotating it and then you will be able to easily align non gridded pieces to your build. If you rotate the first piece at all, when you use the advance move tool to place non gridded pieces and try to slide them in position, they will be off.
ok, thanks, also: is there a way to align paths with walls?

That'd be the align to grid option in the path menu. However I'd advice against using it ATM because there is a bug with those gridded paths that causes guests and staff to get stuck on them for no reason.

What are you trying to accomplish? Since you can bring facility buildings up to a path are you talking about habitat buildings and barriers so you do not have the look of that gap between a blueprint habitat and path? That is doable just not sure what you are wanting to do.

It is best if one does use path to grid to use it on a wall piece rather than on a facility as the facility door connections are set back from what seems to match the wall grid. Most of these offsets vary slightly from each other making that grid fail to connect.
I use it often myself when building exhibit buildings where I want have the exhibit surrounded by paths that connect on all sides.

I've used the "align to barrier" function and built a null barrier just to lay the path, then once the path is there, delete the barrier.
