Want wandering peacocks
In 'real' zoos, peacocks tend to roam free through the entire zoo, rather than contained in a habitat and I'd like to mimic that in my zoo. It's my understanding that guests can cross null barriers so I tried to create a small greenspace that was confined by null barrier but when I tried to place my test peacock it escaped as there's no physical barrier. Is there some way to create such an invisible, guest crossing barrier?

Yes, you can fake it. There are videos on YouTube where people have taken the largest elephant grass piece, turned it upside down so the roots stick up, and sunk it into the ground where your null barrier is until it is almost entirely invisible (you might see a few tiny pieces sticking up when you are very close to it, but otherwise it is not seen). The idea is that because the elephant grass piece has such a huge hitbox for most animals, it acts as an invisible barrier.

I have done this to a park/picnic area in my zoo with good effect. It makes the peafowl seem to be free roaming in that space. I don't think it would be ideal to surround your entire zoo with this, just because it will cause huge lag from piece count and your keepers will struggle to feed and clean that large an area, but you could place a few smaller peafowl habitats where it appears they tend to hang out.

Thanks! I'll give it a go.
