from what ive seen about this game everyone wants more animals, more animals, but i think they dont realise the price tag, more time, computer compatibility?? i think frontier would have to mark it up alot higher than people expect if DLC's contained 15 - 20 animals, and it would take longer between DLC's which again the community would moan about and affect revenue?? who knows
they have a good business model in their eyes so they decide to stick with it. unless someone from frontier states reasons why they are doing it this way, we will never know and can only speculate
we will just have to hope that they introduce expansion packs later on in the games life ( this new pack has opened up many possibilities) . honestly, if you like playing this game the DLC's are worth it, they are pretty cheap considering. its like the cost of a lunch, or a meal from burger king for example.
IMO, they enhance the game, you can get so many play hours from them ( i know i have). to not get them is your own loss. YOU and only YOU is missing out
Or maybe at least a free animal species in between as a surprise for christmas or whatever from time to time.
But all in all I am glad with the development of the game, now they introduce diving and some more content, maybe this can also lead to flying animals in future...
Still, I miss so quite a lot in planet zoo atm. I would love to see real aquariums (not just 5 aquatic animals that like swimming), or birds and also there is so much potential gameplay-wise. Seeing how slow they release content I'm afraid we have to wait quite some time for those things. They haven't even touched anything gameplay-related with any DLC yet and we don't know if they ever will.
And I'm fine with having lots of DLC (I play lots of cities skylines and own all DLC for that game). Just as it is, they are not worth the money for myself.
can you even comprehend how unsustainable that is?
Cause apparently YOU think its okay to call people "greedy cheapskates" because they dont want to pay for dlc's, while you trashed everyone in other ways aswell...
Get out here
It's the same in every forum: Be nice, be respectful, use real arguments, don't insult other ppl for whatever reason and you won't have any problems anywhere. If you can't do this and if you can't behave, you simply don't have the required attitude for any forum.
i read your post, i get what youre saying, but yeah it wasnt cool calling people 'greedy cheapskates'.
i agree with your point in saying if you like the game then support it, this is a good way to think of it. i know its frontier who are worth quite abit anyway lol and well established, but it all helps toward development and what they have in store for future games.
this way frontier can continue development and hopefully planet zoo will get better and better too!
