Sudden critical area issues?
Both my red pandas and my bornean orangutan are suddenly at 21% space despite the fact that they had been fine with the space up until this update. The area for the orangutans is 61,010 square feet and the number of adult animals is 1 male, 5 females.

Is there anything I can do to fix this glitch? I put all the effected animals into storage until the inspector left, to avoid being fined for protestors.

Check the traversable area. Make sure your animals don’t get stuck in small spaces (it happens) and that the paths are wide enough and easy to navigate. AI path finding can be weird sometimes.

Checked all of that before I made this post since i've had animals get stuck before, all that checks out fine

Is this land space or climbable space problem. ?

Did this happen after the number of animals in the habitat increased?
Did anything else get added to the habitat?
I would think you know these things already but just checking.

That sounds like a climbable space issue, as that happens a lot in my zoos. I would 'move' something by just hitting the x key, and then saying its good without anything happen. It's been a really awful bug as of late (and for as long as I know.)

I guess you can try making the habitat slightly larger/smaller. That way the game has to recalculate the size which might reset stuff. I had a similar issues a while ago with my lemurs who were suddenly complaining that there wasn't enough climbing area available. I think I removed one of the climbing structures and then put in the same one again. That solved the issue for me.

I have no idea what was causing it, but moving animals into storage and then putting them back in the habitat fixed it, if anyone else is having this problem. Can be quite tedious though depending how many habitats glitched.

I guess that also forces the game to recalculate the area in a habitat.
