Anyone else having crashing issues since installing the dlc?

Everytime i try to load one of my franchise zoos, it crashes within a minute or two in the loading screen. It was loading fine yesterday. I uninstalled every non-steam mods I had and verified my files and it still crashes.

I have no mods and my sandbox game loaded perfectly. In fact, it was perfectly stable after being a crasher after the Africa pack release, so this has been my most stable playtime in a while. I do not really play in franchise mode, though, so there may be something going on with it.

I'm not sure what it is. I think it might just be with my bigger zoos, I was able to load my smallest zoo (less than 100 animals) just fine. I'm not sure what could be causing it.

The game crashed on me after I tried loading a sandbox with mods I started about 2 weeks ago.

I would expect a zoo (save) created with mods would crash every time after removing the mods from one's game...

Non-steam mods don't affect franchise games, only sandbox. Also it was crashing before I removed the mods.

I just tried to load my franchise game and it crashed with my non-steam animals and scenery.

I loaded my sandbox that has no animals at this time. I have removed my nonsteam mods and within a minute or two, it crashes. I tried this 3 times and its the same situation.

When you remove mods mid-game it never solves the problem. The only option is to start a new zoo.

Mine is doing this too and I dont have any mods(didnt know that was a thing)

The next thought is what kind of computer do you have.

I'm in sandbox I have no mods. I have downloaded the new Animal pack and the updates. My game will not load, it crashes after about 10 seconds. I know my pc can handle it because I purchased this pc just for this game. I am so frustrated with this whole Game.

This was happening to me, I just had to verify integrity of the game files. Right click on Planet Zoo in the steam library-> properties -> local files -> verify integrity of game files....

I verified many many times, checked for mods stilllllllll nothing but crashing even before the game opens

I figured out my own issue, it was a single (non-steam) modded object in my zoo that was causing the issue. I just had to wait for the mod to update to 1.7 and then my zoo loaded fine, then I removed the object. Haven't had any issues since.
