Why hasn't an animal trade notification been implemented yet?

I'm tired of having to refresh the animal trade window for hours looking for that single animal that people seem to refuse to sell. I'd rather spend my time, you know, building my zoo and having fun?

I think there should be a way to set up a notification that pops up whenever an animal that corresponds to your current filters is available to buy. It would save time and make it more fun for everyone.

For example, let's say I'm in franchise mode and I want a male lion that isn't worth 10000 conservation points (not common, I know): then, instead of waiting 6 IRL hours to find what I want, I lock in the settings and I quietly expand my zoo in the meantime until I get the notification. At least now, I'm not scared of forgetting about the trade center and missing my dream animal by accident! Problem solved!

LOL This sounds like someone who moves from a city to a small town to escape the noise, etc. and then wants a shopping mall, etc. :) On a serious note, it is not a bad idea; I just wonder if it would put more stress on people's computers. Also, not sure your "more fun for everyone" comment is correct. There may be some who enjoy finding the animal they want.
As I said, not a bad idea but I doubt the devs will do it as Sandbox is available.

I went hunting for a female mandrill in my franchise zoo yesterday. It took hours to find a single female, any female. That was frustrating. I would love a notification system

It works yeah, and it definitely feels better than the first time i used it (last year), way less laggy and more responsive. Idk if it's because of new updates or because fewer people are playing franchise though

I would also love a way where you can just buy an animal without having to wait for it to appear. It's so annoying that if you want a certain type of animal, especially if it lives in groups larger than 3 or 4, you can almost never get an entire group of them. If they are available at all. I would really love it if the current system stays in place but you also had an option that allows you to buy a random male/female. You could tie it in some way to zoo rating or research level. Or maybe not. It's basically like how the randomly generated animals work right now, but for all of them instead of a random selection of them. I imagine the current system is mostly done to encourage the use of the animal trade in franchise mode but with the prices of animals on there it really isn't practical.
