Multiplayer Mode?

Is one being developed? So I can visit m friends zoos and we can co build and stuff? I'm confused by the server franchise thing with no ability to interact with my friends iand their zoos n it.

Franchise has a market that is used by players to buy an sell animals to and from other players. There is no live interaction between zoos. One can collaborate with a friend by using the workshop though. And if you haven't figured it out those visiting players are just AI characters using other player's avatar and name.

Unfortunately no, but it would be cool. Zoos are just a game file on personal computers, so the only way to "visit" another player's zoo is to download the ones that have been put on the workshop for that purpose. To implement server function and "live" play seems pretty unlikely at this point.
