- yes, size does matter
- they need a nice and wide slop to get into the water (same for other animals with water requirements)
Check out the heat map 'H' or bottom left corner, select traversable area and click on the dad croc to check out which areas of the habitat are accessible for him and where he cannot pass.

yeah, i understand how to use the heat map; what i'm saying is that even when i use it, i don't understand what it is that's preventing the male crocodile/gharial from moving in an open area with a gentle slope into the water. my problem isn't that i don't know how to see what's blocking him from moving, my problem is that even when there's nothing in the way, half the habitat is still inaccessible for him.
i'll try to provide an example screenshot later, as i've already fixed the issue in my current zoo.
