Those vending machines?

Are they, or at least some of them, bugged? They keep bursting in to flames and even setting Maintenance to every 3 months, they still do. I Thought there would be a saving on Vendors, but oh no, you need 100s of mechanics instead trying to stop them breaking. I watched one being repaired, and once finished the mechanic wandered off, but it was still on fire. It also seems maintenance of them costs money, so it's next to impossible to make a profit with them, and visitors don't seem all that keen on using them anyway, but they still flock to shops. I eventually deleted them.

Indeed it did seem to be a now fixed bug, but they still seem pointless and impossible to make a profit from and still get people to buy from them. I no longer bother with them.

I've found that vending machines don't really make a profit they are more there to help your staff with long food/drink queues, to help reduce their workload so guests stop complaining "that X line is too long" :) Of course then they complain that the vending machine line is now too long lol. No pleasing some people :P

Just place more kiosks ... Interestingly, unlike Planet Coaster, which is constantly nagging about long queues, when just 4 people are stood there, PZ does not nag.
