Big Questions from older Zoo Tycoon player
Hello, this game has caught my interest as I was a huge fan of the original Zoo Tycoon. I haven't gotten to play the beta so I would like to ask some questions regarding this game to see if it has similar features from the original Zoo Tycoon that I found very appealing and interesting.

1.) Do guests litter and drop garbage around the zoo if there is no available trash cans? Can you hire maintenance workers to help clean trash around the zoo?

2.) Can you place animals from different species into the same exhibit? This includes predators and prey.

3.) Will animals eat or kill each other?

4.) Will animals eat or kill humans?

5.) Can you create rides and mini amusement park sections where kids can play?

5.) Has there been any marine animals and possibly dinosaurs announced as future DLC?

1. Yes, there are maintenance staff who clean up. There are bins.
2. Yes, but if you put predators with prey, consider the prey dead. You can have exhibits which get bonuses from having other species about. (Springbok, Buffalo etc)
3. I.. believe so.
4. I havent tested this, unsure.
5. Thus far there are transport rides, unsure about other ones.
5. None yet.

1.) yes, guests will litter the zoo. And there are maintenance workers.

2.) Yes you can.

3.) I believe animals will kill eachother with a kid friendly animation.

4.) No. Guests will just run away.

5.) Haven't seen any kid related stuff, but there is transport options for every age.

5.) Hasn't been announced yet.

For #3, the predator animal darts in and looks like a headbutt to the prey animal, which dies right there, it just lays on the ground and disappears after a while, and you get a memorial notice pop up for it. It doesn't get eaten as far as I've seen, but I only tested it twice.

3.) I tried it. I put some peacocks in my lion enclosure and - after a while - I saw one of the lions jump on a peacock and killed it. Afterwards, the lion ate some of it (just an biting animation from the lion) but the food bar of the lion grew up a little bit. But it does not happen happen everytime. They always get killed but are only eaten if the other animal is hungry, I guess.

Oh wow. Okay! That did not happen to me but I guess the animals that did it the two times I saw it were not hungry. I'm actually surprised they programmed the eating of the other animals in

Yeah, It didnt work that way for me either. I thought they would, as my keepers kept getting bugged, and not feeding my animals on time. They were hungry, they kill the peafowls, but, that was it. Other than the alert I got about a dead animal in the habitat..lol

But, as mentioned, I also saw it one or two times. And there's no animation for the dead body. The lion was just biting and the bar filled a bit. So I think it's not a safe food resource...

Since the questions have been answered, I'll just choose to answer number 4.

Alas! My dreams of creating a genuine Roman Colosseum, with lions and tigers and bears (Oh my!) were quashed in the beta. It was such a tease because I spotted the odd Christian, some Carthaginians and even a few Vandals visiting my beta park. All perfect candidates for my Colosseum.

It seems appropriate to close using a poignant phrase in Latin. Screw propriety.! I won't do it!

"Meum labia signati!"

"My lips are sealed!"

EDIT: frikkin typo.
